Training at Seu D'Urgell

I'm recently home from an 11 day training camp at the venue of this year's World Champs - Seu D'urgell in the Spanish Pyrenees.

I really enjoyed the camp. With only 5 weeks to the Worlds, it was very focused with vital familiarisation and specific technical aims to be met. I felt I was paddling consistently well. The only down-side to the camp was the extremely low water level which, as well as being incredibly frustrating at times, meant everyone's kit took a bad beating!

The rest of team GB is in Seu for a full 3 weeks, but I chose to come home early. I had a nice light weekend to recover from what was a big load of work at high pace, and then I will head out to Bratislava this week for the Slovak Open race.
